I was born and raised in Iran, left Iran as at 19 and lived outside Iran eversince. Almost the entire time since left Iran lived in NY and North East, US and except for about 2 years of the period, haven't been around a Persian sometimes for months.
There are thousands of Persians in NY and I run to them many times a day, eat at Persian restaurants once or more a day, but normally don't even talk to anyone Persian for months. During my up times I had many friends and even my workers were Persian, now that Ilm through down time, feel I have to hide untill I recover both emotionaly & financially. I moved frm whr I used to live and even changed all my #'s so nobody whould know and ask about me.
I am intouch w/hundreds of persians online everyday w/o using my real name or having any other type of connection and the only ones I communicate is my family whom I met only once since they moved to California 2 years ago.
Hopefully I reistructure my business, soon and I could make connections again when I have my peace of mind back
